We shouldn’t have to send our PCs to fry or work with extra latency or w/e because of driver problems seeing as this issue dates back to 2016 apparently. But I feel like we SHOULDN’T have to go through any of this either way, as Windows users. Some things under advanced power options are blocked by my company, so I can’t do much about that or mess with the BIOS since it is both a work laptop and they also have the power to spy on everything I do without any expectation of privacy, so that’s fun lol.

The problem is also that I chose my work PC (A Dell Latitude 7400 with i7 and 16G RAM) since it has native TB3, both for work-related producing and personal stuff. I’ve done a bunch of troubleshooting, nothing seems to fix the audio crackles and distortion, and after updating Windows 10 it seems to have gotten even worse. So, after working godless hours and saving up for many many months for all of the gear including a good mic, cabin, headphones, speakers and finally: the Apollo Twin X, I’m really upset about having to report that I’m suffering from the same issues many here are facing.
